Jabbernaut is an XMPP (Jabber) client that lets you keep in touch with your contacts even when their XMPP server is down.

To accomplish this, unique Jabber ID is provided for every contact, different for every XMPP server, derived from user ID and XMPP server domain name. This also allows hot switching of XMPP servers within one single conversation.
